Tenreply Is Now Completely Free — Every Feature, Every Seat, No Card

We removed the plans, the seat caps, the conversation limits, and the trial clock. Tenreply is free — the whole platform, for every team, with no credit card. Here is what changed and why we did it.

The Short Version

Tenreply no longer has paid plans. Every feature that used to sit behind a tier — unlimited agent seats, unlimited conversations, broadcasts, automation flows, the product catalog, AI reply suggestions, the full REST API, and the CRM — is now available to every account at no cost.

There is no trial period counting down. There is no credit card field. There is no plan to upgrade to.

What Was Removed

Until now, Tenreply worked the way most WhatsApp platforms work: a tiered plan with a seat count, a monthly conversation allowance, and the more interesting features reserved for the more expensive rows. That model is gone. Specifically:

  • Seat limits — invite your entire team. Ten agents or a hundred, the number is not metered.
  • Conversation caps — Tenreply does not count your conversations or charge for volume.
  • Broadcast and template limits — send to your full opted-in list, and submit as many templates as you need.
  • Feature gating — the API, webhooks, Zapier, n8n, Make, analytics, and the CRM are not add-ons.
  • The 14-day trial — there is nothing to expire, so there is nothing to convert.

The One Cost That Remains (and It Is Not Ours)

This is the part worth being precise about, because "free" is a word that hides things.

Meta charges for WhatsApp conversations. That has always been true and it is unchanged: WhatsApp gives every business account 1,000 free service conversations per month, and beyond that, Meta bills per conversation at rates that vary by country and category. Those charges are between you and Meta, and they exist no matter which platform you use to send the messages.

What is free is Tenreply — the software, the seats, the automation, the API. If you want to estimate your Meta side before you commit to anything, our conversation cost calculator will do the arithmetic by country and message category.

Why We Did This

Two reasons, and neither is charity.

The first is that seat-based pricing quietly breaks the product. A shared inbox is more useful the more of your team is in it — but if each seat costs money, teams ration access. The support lead gets a login and everyone else forwards screenshots. We were charging for the exact thing that makes the tool work.

The second is that conversation caps punish the customers doing best. A business whose WhatsApp channel is genuinely working sends more messages, and under a metered plan that success arrives as a bill and a decision about whether to throttle. We would rather you send more.

What This Means If You Are Comparing Platforms

Most WhatsApp Business API providers start somewhere between $12 and $49 per month and climb from there, usually with a seat count and a conversation allowance attached. If you are mid-evaluation, the comparison is now simpler than it was: see Tenreply vs WATI, vs AiSensy, or vs Interakt.

You will still need your own WhatsApp Business API account through Meta — that requirement is universal and we walk you through it during setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a promotional period?

No. There is no end date attached to it and no card on file to charge when something lapses.

Will Tenreply stay free?

The core platform will. We may eventually offer optional paid add-ons for specialised needs, but the shared inbox, automation, broadcasts, API and CRM described here are the free product, not a sampler of it.

I was on a paid plan. What happens to me?

Your limits are gone and your account keeps everything it had. There is nothing you need to do.

What is the catch — do you sell my data?

No. Your conversations and contacts are yours. We do not sell, rent, or train on your customer data.

Do I still need a WhatsApp Business API account?

Yes. Tenreply connects to the official Meta Cloud API, so you need a WhatsApp Business API account — see which one you actually need if you are unsure.

Start Without Deciding Anything

The usual reason to postpone trying a platform is that evaluating it costs something — money, a card, or a trial window you have to use before it closes. None of those apply here. Create an account and connect your number.
